Friedel Crafts

Friedel–Crafts reactions are of two main types alkylation reactions and acylation reactions. These reactions involve the alkylation or acylation of an aromatic ring with an alkyl halide or acid chloride using a strong Lewis acid, such as aluminium chloride or ferric chloride.

Liquid Aluminium Chloride or Ferric Chloride solution is generated during these reactions. These streams are converted to liquid by-products this enables SGRL to carry out environmental friendly and sustainable production, from pilot plants to large-volume commercial quantities in both batch and continuous processes.
